Vitality London 10,000 - Highlights

On Monday 29 May, spring Bank Holiday, two members of Fine & Country Fulham took part in Vitality London 10,000. This 10k run through central London took our team through some of London’s most iconic and well known sites.

Sadly, due to injury one member of the team had to pull out of the race, but this did not stop Charles Eddlestone and Daniel Wheeler from running an amazing race.

Charles, Sales and Lettings Manager said, “I absolutely loved it; the atmosphere, the others runners supporting and encouraging each other and the crowds together helped us to have an incredible day. Unfortunately, I was a little too focused to take in the buildings and famous sites, but it all paid off because I managed to beat my target of 55 minutes by 1 minute 13 seconds, to complete the run in 53 minutes 47 seconds.”

Charles has stated that he has the “running bug” and is now interested in running a half marathon in October. This enthusiasm has not rubbed off onto his friend and colleague Daniel.

Daniel, from Fine & Country Fulham said, “I’m so glad to have done the run, I was just aiming for under two hours so to have completed it in one hour 10 minutes is incredible for me. However, I know that Charles will attempt to coax me into doing the half marathon with him. Sorry Charles, but 10k is a nice distance for me so I will cheer you on from the crowd instead”

The guys are still raising money for homelessness and would love your donations. Please sponsor them here.
