Joy to the World! More than 500 attendees gathered in the historic Chapel at King’s College, Cambridge for a show-stopping carol concert, on Sunday 2nd December.
King’s College partnered with Fine & Country to host this spectacular event in support of The Fine & Country Foundation. The full ticket cost went to The Foundation to support our three chosen homeless charities in Cambridge: Emmaus Cambridge, Jimmy’s and Wintercomfort.
We are delighted to announce that the tickets, combined with donations on the day raised £15,486.62.
Stewards welcomed guests into the Chapel and guided the VIP attendees to their reserved seats. Once everyone was settled, Dean Reverend Dr Stephen Cherry gave a few words to welcome everyone for the occasion.
The King’s Voices performed a wonderful rendition of ‘A Great and Might Wonder’ which was followed by a short bible reading from Luke 2: 1-7 by the Dean.
The carol performance involved audience participation for set verses and carols and remained choir-only for the remaining carols.
