The Autumn Grant application will open on the 1st of October, we will be taking applications for our Autumn Grant until 31st October 2022.
Twice a year, The Fine & Country Foundation awards grants of up to £3,000 to charities both in the UK and overseas to aid projects in the fight against homelessness and poverty. As an independent fundraising organisation, we favour grant applications from small, local charities and investing in their work helping homeless people. These charities are nominated to receive grants by local Fine & Country agents throughout our network.
Through your donations and funding raised by agents across the network, The Foundation has already supported many charities across the globe, such as NOURISH in South Africa, The Henry Ronald Trust in Zimbabwe, The Lighthouse Baby Shelter in South Africa, Tshwane Leadership Foundation in South Africa, Association Project 4 All in Spain and many more.
Through our Spring Grant Programme this year. We are delighted to have been able to donate a total of £31,752 supporting 16 charities across the UK and overseas working toward ending homelessness and poverty. This brings the total granted to charitable organisations by The Foundation in 2022 to over £87,000.
Our Grant Programme would not be possible without the generous donations we receive and the support from the network. This year, the Fine & Country network took on the challenge of collectively travelling the circumference of the world, 40,070km in 80 days to mark 10 years since the Great British Property Cycle. Members of the network pledged to raise money for The Foundation by tracking their distance walked, ran, and cycled on a fitness app. The Fine & Country network completed this challenge in flying colours, finishing 50,134.9km in 80 days. All funds raised from this challenge, along with many other fundraising events hosted throughout the network, will be awarded through the Autumn Grant Programme.
