Have you ever thought that it would be a great idea to run through a World War II nuclear shelter obstacle course for charity? Well, we have.
On Saturday 16th September twelve members of Fine & Country offices in London will be making their way to Brentwood, Essex to take part in the Nuclear Blast. This 5k obstacle course is filled with mud, ropes and adrenaline. The competitors have two hours to run as many laps of the course as they can. How many laps could you do?
The nuclear shelter site was originally built in World War II as a preventative measure against a nuclear attack. Thankfully, no attack came, but the land has not gone to waste. It has been transformed into an obstacle course for the public.
Fine and Country have 12 members taking part in the event. Fine & Country Fulham and Interior Design are joined by Daniel Harrington from Head Office in this muddy and spectacular event. Estate Agents are known for their competitive nature, so please sponsor them here:

The Nuclear Blast event is organised by Centrepoint, the largest partner in the End Youth Homelessness campaign. This is a national campaign formed of nine homeless charities across the country. We are delighted to be partnered with the End Youth Homelessness campaign to support their important work with 16-25 year olds. Our focus is on the Safe Nights Fund; it costs just £25 to provide a young person with a safe bed to sleep in for one night. They have round-the-clock care and support over the night.
Each participant is aiming to raise a minimum £195 each. This would provide one young person with a safe place to sleep for over three months. In doing so, they will have the best opportunities available to get off of the streets for good and to a stable and secure future.
