On Saturday 9th September 10 people from GPEA Ltd will be taking part in one of Cambridge’s biggest attractions of the year. Step aside punters, it is time for the Dragon Boat Race!We have had volunteers taking part in the Dragon Boat Race for the past four years and this year is expected to be bigger, better and wackier than ever before. Last year the team came in 13th place, only one position off the qualifiers. The team is aptly called ‘10 Wet Wallys sitting in a boat’ and they will all be dressed as Where’s Wally. The group will be rowing down the River Cam in Fen Ditton in stripy t-shirts and red bobble hats. Marcus Whewell, CEO of GPEA Ltd said, “It is fantastic that GPEA can contribute to big and worthy causes and that the Fine & Country Foundation provides us with the opportunity to do this.
