On Thursday 19th October, Fine & Country Bedford opened their doors to welcome guests for a scrumptious morning of cake, brownies and more cake. Clients, friends and passers-by came together to raise money and awareness for homelessness in Bedford. It is an ever-growing issue across the UK, but Fine & Country Bedford is taking steps to do something about it. The efforts of Haydn van Weenen and Tom Mollett helped to raised £437 from their coffee morning. Generous donations were given by a number of people, including Bridget Harris who donated an incredible £150. Haydn and Tom are organising a second fundraiser, a Sleep Out on Thursday 9th November. The donations from both the coffee morning and the Sleep Out will be donated to the SMART Prebend Centre. This local homeless charity supports the basic needs of homeless people in the Bedford area.
